Age Limit - Candidates age should not be more than 30 years.

Note - Age relaxation will be extended as per government rules. 

Educational Qualification - 
1. For Field Investigator Posts Candidates should have completed diploma degree in Agriculture and Allied subjects or Bachelor degree or 12th pass from any recognized institution or university.
2. For Computer Operator Post - Candidates should have complete post  graduate degree in computer application from any recognized institution or university.

Selection Process - Eligible Candidates will be Selected on Interview performance base.

SSC Southern Region Recruitment 2013 – Group B & C Posts: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Southern Region Chennai has issued notification for the recruitment of 05 various vacancies in Group B and Group C posts. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 30-04-2013. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee details, selection process and how to apply are given below…

SSC Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 05
Names of Posts:
1. Library & Information Assistant (German): 01 Post
2. Investigator Grade-II: 01 Post
3. Assistant Epigraphist (Dravidian Inscriptions): 02 Posts
4. Junior Scientific Assistant: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 years and 28 years for posts 1, not exceed 26 years for post 2, not exceed 30 years for post 3, between 18 years to 30 years for post 4. Age will be reckoned on 30-04-2013. Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in relevant discipline from recognized University. For post wise required educational qualification, go through the notification.

Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay application fee in form of require to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- for post 3 & 4. Fee must be paid in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) in all post offices. SC/ ST/ EXSM/ PWD/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates would be called for Screening Test, Written Proficiency Test and Personal Interview. Final selections would be made on the basis of performance in both Test and Interview.

How to Apply - Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph and attest signature and send along with CRFS attached, 2 photographs and copies of all relevant certificates to The Regional Director (SR),  Staff Selection Commission, 2nd Floor, EVK Sampath Building, College Road, Chennai – 600 217 on or before 30-04-2013.
